Cell: 613-334-5619Bio:
After spending the last 4 years as a councillor in Tudor/Cashel I figured I had more to give and more to do. I decided to run for Deputy Mayor at the urging of the many people I have met over my term as councillor. Going forward I plan on continuing to try and find ways to make sure tax dollars are going where they are needed most and more importantly that we are getting full value for those dollars.

Cell: 613.318-8237
Bio:Elain Holloway (a.k.a. Elaine) and her husband relocated to Tudor Cashel Township after several years of looking for an ideal place to call home. She is a loving mother who has great care and compassion towards family, with a passion for the arts, water activities; specifically swimming and scuba diving, and travelling with her husband on motorcycle. Elain has extensive leadership, business, and committee experience both in non-for-profit and for-profit organizations, experience needed to ensure the community’s needs are heard at Council.
Elain held the position of Fundraising Chair, Board Chair and was an Educator/Facilitator for the Peterborough Family Resource Centre family-based programs, offering programs and services in a variety of safe, accessible, urban, and rural locations.
Taking a leap from family centered services her career path led her to business. Elain was production coordinator, for Smurfit – Image Pac in Mississauga, Ontario, responsible for production planning and scheduling of pre-produced packaging components for companies such as; Molson, Nestle, Alcan, Coca-Cola, and Lipton. Elain returned to Peterborough, Ontario, employed by Metroland Media Group (a division of Torstar) for fourteen years, initially as District Manager in distribution, later joining the sales department, assisting the General Manager in daily operations. Her primary role was to bolster the company’s mission to stay connected to the communities they serviced across Ontario and to provide support and training to their local sales team, aiding and training sales representatives in fundamental digital sales skills required for digital tools and systems within the organization.
Elain believes every community thrives when a group of individuals come together, collectively, working for the good of the whole. Elain has demonstrated this with over 25 years experience working in dynamic office environments. She easily demonstrates her ability to collaborate within a team. Document management, process improvements, regulatory compliance, organized and dedicated, she offers a keen attention to detail with strong decision-making skills.
Elain is fair, honest, a confident self motivator who is responsible with a strong work ethic and is looking forward to serving this community, she now calls home, to the best of her ability, meeting community needs not only today but ensuring its sustainability into the future. Elain is very excited about serving the community of Tudor Cashel Township for the next four years representing and giving you a voice at Council.

COUNCILLOR CHADWICK
Councillor Jerry Chadwick
Email: chadwick@tudorandcashel.com
Cell: 613.318.8231
Bio:Jerry and his wife, Sandy, have been residents of Tudor and Cashel since 1999 when they first discovered Jordan Lake. They have made many improvements to their place, making it more comfortable and enjoyable with much help from local contractors and companies.
Jerry was an elementary school teacher and Principal for 33 years before retiring in 2009. Shortly after that he decided to use his experience, training, and skills and to run for election in 2010 as Trustee for the Toronto District School Board. He successfully served 2 terms (8 years) in this elected position before stepping down. During his tenure as a Trustee, Jerry learned a great deal about governance, budget, negotiations, setting of policies and procedures and much more. He also strengthened his commitment to working as a member of a team in public service. One important lesson that he learned and continues to understand is that no individual elected official has any power or authority. It is only through collaboration with other Trustees that improvement and results could be achieved. The same principles can be applied to the role of Councillor in Tudor and Cashel.
In his new role as Councillor, Jerry is determined to work for all residents, full time and seasonal. He will use his previous experiences to help meet the needs of all citizens of the township. He looks forward to hearing from the people of TC and listening to their ideas, celebrating their successes, and addressing their concerns.
