The Township of Tudor and Cashel currently invites tenders on a number of properties for tax sale.
Staff will not respond to inquiries prior to the purchase of the information package.
To purchase the information package and receive the forms required to submit a tender, e-transfer your $25.00 fee to admin@tudorandcashel.com.
With the password “taxsale”
**Follow the payment with an email of your request to admin@tudorandcashel.com You must do this as the e-transfer does not include your email address and without it we cannot send you the package.
Packages are also available on site at the Municipal office

Tenders must be submitted in the prescribed form (provided in the information package) and must be accompanied by a deposit of at least 20% of the tender amount, which deposit shall be made by way of a certified cheque/bank draft/money order payable to the Township of Tudor and Cashel.
Except as follows, the municipality makes no representation regarding the title to or any other matters including but not limited to; any environmental concerns, zoning compliance, access or work orders relating to the lands to be sold. Any existing Federal or Provincial liens or executions will remain on title and may become the responsibility of the potential purchaser. Responsibility for ascertaining these matters rests with the potential purchasers.
This sale is governed by the Municipal Act, 2001, and the Municipal Tax Sales Rules made under that Act. The successful purchaser will be required to pay the amount tendered plus accumulated taxes and any taxes that may be applicable, such as land transfer tax. Failure to complete the transaction by the successful bidder (highest or if failed, second highest bidder) will result in the forfeiture of their deposit.
The municipality has no obligation to provide vacant possession to the successful purchaser.
