Strategic planning is a must for every Municipality, big and small. It’s a process to figure out where your community is going and how to get there.
A strategic plan defines who we are as a Municipality and lists concrete actions to achieve our goals. When decisions need to be made, a strategic plan helps our Council and Staff make meaningful decisions and find new opportunities while staying true to our values and mission.
On top of that, building a strategic plan is an opportunity for the municipality to build on the relationships that are developing with the community and stakeholders.
The Council of Tudor and Cashel Township are establishing a Strategic Planning Development Committee. This Committee will work with Council to obtain stakeholder input and compile information that will be used to draft the Strategic Plan for the Municipality. The intent is to have a document drafted by mid year 2024. Committee members will be able to participate virtually when possible.
If you are interested in the future of our Municipality and drafting a document that will guide the decision making for our area please send your interest to the following by January 4th 2024;
